Malaysia: Shortage of turkeys in KL hotels
Once again hotels and restaurants in the country are facing a shortage of halal turkey for the Christmas and New Year festivities.

UK: Demand for Halal turkey on the rise in the UK
Last December, the Halal Monitoring Council certified 5,500 turkeys slaughtered in UK abattoirs. In 2011, they certified none. Last week alone, the HMC certified 1,500 turkeys.
