Al Amir Food Industries (AAFI) is set to invest AED35 million into a new food production facility in Ras Al Khaimah. The 13,500 sq m space will focus on processing pulses and spices; importing products from Canada, Australia and Russia and exporting them across the GCC and East Africa. It is hoped the space will generate 50 new jobs.
Apart from importing and exporting, the company will also provide white labelling solutions, wherein Al Amir’s products can be customised as per customers’ brands. The solution will be targeted at retailers, high-end supermarket chains and ethnic stores.
The space, located in the Al Ghail Industrial Zone, is brought to fruition through a deal with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone.
