Turkey ranks third in the “Global Muslim Travel Index 2016,” and the Turkish government and business sector have decided to pursue a bigger slice of the Halal pie.
The two-day conference themed “Developing Halal Tourism Industries” aims to shape the future of the Halal tourism sector currently worth $150 billion.
The conference was graced by renowned scholars and eminent personalities from the travel and tourism industry from Auckland, India and other South East Asian countries.
Taking place in Granada, Spain on September 22-23, The Halal Tourism Conference 2014 will provide a platform to discuss Halal tourism with experts in the industry.
